The second time around I felt much more sure of my mad paper crafting skills. I say that timidly, having not seen the fantastic tags the other ladies have come up with yet this month. I sat down to get started and pulled out my pre-determined images...and they were too small. Back to square one. Understand that it took me nearly 2 weeks to come up with the original 12 images! I rifled through the castoffs from the first time around and just like magic the creativity started flowing....
Sticking with my Mother Goose theme I chose Mary Queen of Hearts.
Everything looks better with millinery and ribbon. These peachy pink and turquoise are my take on the classic red Valentine.
Crepe paper ruffles and glitter galore.
I added a paper clip to the back for ease of display.
Just to be over the top her petticoat doily peeks out from the bottom.
Finishings on the back. A stamp, a vintage gum sticker, and a millinery flower to tie it all together.
I will be linking this up to the Happy Homemaker Tag Along site on February 10th.
Pop over and take a peek at all the great tags as they come in on the McLinky at the blogspot.
Oh I love the image you chose those are the cutest and what you did with it is fantastic.
