Lithograph Santa

Santa's Merry Carnival
Copyright 1955 by Polygraphic Company of America, INC.  Lithographed in U.S.A.
Given to Little Jeffery at the tender age of 3 by his Grandma and Grandpa.
Rescued by me in a dusty basement early this past year at an estate sale...now my treasure.

Santa plans a carnival?

Complete with top hat and center ring!

Spinning monkeys (still in working condition).

Dancing elephants and elfish bands.

It is the most remarkable pop up book.  Perhaps the most intriguing page...take a gander at the Tattoo Lady!  Straight out of the circus.

Lithographed treasures are truly perfection.

And your comment about savoring the years until the kids won't sit on Santa's lap brought tears to my eyes! Oh, childhood is just too short for us moms...!
