Published...

At my house there are four types of mail.
 Junk.
Bills.
 Arrivals (something ordered).
But the most wonderful by far is SURPRISE mail!

Yellow graphic paper Congratulations! you've been published mail!

On a complete whim I made an apron last year at Miss Keren's prompting for a UCreate with me blog party.

My design was warmly received in this generous community.

Another wonderful blogger Suzy from Georgia Peachez suggested I send it in to Apron*ology.

I must admit I hesitated but then I figured there would be no loss.

Months and months went by before this publication came.  I am honored to be amongst so many wonderfully talented artisans. Even a few friends.  Most notably, Ruby Jean. If you happen to be out an about in your bookstore you can find me on your shelves.  Even if to steal a peek.

  23. So funny, I was at Barnes & Noble today to calm myself after a stressful situation (browsing magazines with a tea does that for me), when I saw the new Apronology. As I'm skimming through it I find one apron that just makes my heart sing (believe me, I actually had that thought in my head, 'this one makes my heart sing'), and I didn't even realize until I got to the end of the article that it was YOU! :D
Congratulations - I love it when I see my favorite blogs published in these great magazines.
