Wedded Bliss

Wedding gifts...wow I haven't bought those in so long it really threw me for a loop.  Nevertheless, I went right back to my hanky stash and pulled one that matched the bride to be(s) colors.

Hand washed and pressed this is a beauty on its own.

You know I didn't just leave it alone...plain like that...right?

Pennants, names, date and hearts...

Simple treasure to keep for the day.

Full disclosure...I used another blank linen hanky and lined the back to give it weight and hid the stitches.
*pincushion is from Beth's Bagz

This stitching design is my attempt at being hip and young? Well at least the bride is!

  12. It's so sweet. I love that you embroidered their names on it. She can carry it down the aisle with her and dab at any little tears. Weddings are one of those emotional times.
