Dishtowel used to be accessories for the kitchen. A beautiful way to get through a chore. Now I am not even sure if they are meant to be seen? These are the kind of linens I search out and hunger for. The depth of their color and their design are so dramatic.
A recent Etsy find. The towels...not the birds.
From the print to the border...I see potential!
And to think there is double print. One on each end of the towel.
Two pillows.
Two aprons.
Two bags.
Even I would have volunteered to dry the dishes with these beauties.
Those would make doing the dishes less or a chore. Beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow and gray one!! Can't wait to see the aprons and bags you make.

ReplyDeleteI love old dishtowels. I have a bunch of my mom's from the 50's, and search them out at thrift & antique stores. I use them all the time; they're better than the ones I've bought new.
