Thank you so much for the words of ease. I spent the morning catching up on much needed mail and necessities. The magical image above is a gift from a wonderful reader who has recently taken the leap to blogging. Miss Carolynn of Chenille Cottage.
Beautiful wrapped and delivered in the most amazing penmanship. I carefully opened it to find vintage gifts.
The prints are 3D Autographs. Aged to a wonderful tan than cannot be improvised.
Speckled with water spots and trimmed in blue and ivory frames.
Gingham smocked apron in orange to study and remake.
Thank you Carolynn...they are beautiful.
A recent swap with the Button Floozies brought me a needle book from Miss Velma at Down Our Country Road.
Velma has put so many wonderful details in this little gift.
Even my daughter tried to sneak it...Thank you Velma...I adore it.
This morning as I finished picking up the breakfast dishes and corralling the clutter I noticed a theme going on in the house that I wasn't quite in on.
Reagan, obviously waiting patiently for a call...one of my boys forgot his phone this morning! Does anyone else see that he is giving me the stink eye?
Murphy, laying claim to HIS real estate.
Poor Phog, he just doesn't know how big he is.
I was not invited to this morning nap party but they are aware that I will need to be at the next one or their breakfast will be delayed.
Teri...send me an email and I will help you with flickr.

Blogging friends are the "best" kind of friends. Precious treasures. Your furry family is equally sweet. Love their morning nap pics.
ReplyDeleteI love the print with the children and the balloons.
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are so funny. My dogs will get me up early. After I let them out and give them breakfast and sit down withmy coffee, I will look over and there they are fast asleep and so comfy looking. My Springer lays on my lap, he doesn't know he is too big and I just let him.
I hope you can hear me giggling! What fun pups. I love that Phog's extra length was covered by the footstool. It seems we all think of you when we see peachy orange. Perfect for you, what a sweet gift! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet vintage treasure from Carolynn!! She is so sweet!! Love Velma's needle book, and all the sweet touches! It's perfect! Love your animals nap time!! What a life! ;) xo Heather

ReplyDeleteFunny, I forgot all about the button floosies...
I was looking through some of your old images posted for ideas for E's new tag swap. I think i might want to use a pic from your Teddy bears picnic if that's okay.
I'm laughing at the sleepy animals...mostly Phog! So cute!
ReplyDeleteVelma's little needle book is so cute. I'll be sure to visit Chenille Cottage. :)
Erica-
How sweet of your blogging friends to think of you and send you such nice gifts!
ReplyDeleteYour fur friend look so relaxed in heir favorites stops. Wish my dog would sit alone. She has to be under my foot every waking moment. I actually have to tell her to go sit down or make her go outside just to have some space!!! Got to love her though. She is a sweetheart.
What sweet treasures! Going to visit Carolyn's blog right now, thanks, Marilyn.
ReplyDeleteLove the little needle case and the pictures are so cute!

I didn't know you had a bulldog! What a cutie- my husband LOVES bulldogs, but we haven't taken the plunge and gotten a dog yet... All your furbabies are so cute!
ReplyDeleteRenee,
ReplyDeleteI am not sure how to email you...but, I did activate the email account on your website:) When I try to use your email button, my imac automatically switches to their mail account which isn't the mail account I use:) And it doesn't let me email out. If signing on to your email notices doesn't wrok....I will just add my email account in a comment. We live in Kansas and both my kids started college last year, so am really enjoying getting back in the swing of crafts:) And your blog is one of my very favorites.
Thanks.
Terri

Hi Renee.......I am scratching my head right now trying to figure out how I missed this precious and loving post? And, would you believe the comment I made was intended for one of your other posts???Yikes!!
ReplyDeleteNow to give proper thanks for your thoughtful post...I'm so glad you enjoyed your package and frankly, I think it's about time I started putting another one together for you. You are a doll...so dear and so very much on my heart.
I continue to pray for you and your precious family. God is so ever present and right there by your side these days.
Do accept my apology for my weirdly timed comment...I still can't figure out how I goofed up!
