This house is very much like a three ring circus. Everyone in their own center ring except me. I am the one that juggles all the balls and tries to keep the circus moving. I really couldn't tell you if I do it well but I do my best. The kids smile more than they cry and the darling husband is around more than he is gone. It is a big tent and it takes all of us to keep it up...some more than others.
While I am twirling a plate on my foot and a basketball on one finger the other hand crafted up this little gem.
Fresh lemon juice anyone?
Dish rag hoop. Vintage feed sack front, old embroidered towel, fully lined and topped with green buttons.
A denim cottage ruffle to pour your lemonade with!
Sounds like you are doing a perfect job as ringmaster of your blessed circus. Love your latest apron. The juicer is the perfect touch. Have a relaxing weekend...if that's possible.
ReplyDeleteMy house is a tiny pop-up tent compared to yours and yet I am no where near as prolific as your are in the sewing/crafting ring. Hats off to the ringmaster!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I wear an apron every day of my life so I appreciate seeing a cute new design. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if that makes you the Ringmaster or the Lion Tamer but either way, as long as they laugh more than they cry you've got it in control!
ReplyDeleteThe apron is darling!! Isn't it fun living in a circus? I love having a crafting room and time to myself, but I do miss the circus at times!! It looks and sounds like you're doing a wonderful job with yours!

How absolutely adorable! You have created another winner! You have gotten me so inspired to get my hand embroidery out...and, to get stitching. It's been too long! The old fashioned juicer is as cute as can be!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Dad's Day weekend.

You have been busy!! Juggling all your rolls as a mother, wife, housekeeper, chef, chauffeur, creative crafter, etc... must be very hard some days. Hope you feel like you are making good headway on your inventory. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, family life can definitely be a balancing act! Our house often resembles a circus ...or a zoo...or a farm! Hope all your plates stay up! I love your little pinny (apron). Your stitching is so cute and I like your use of recycled fabric. I really must make one soon.
ReplyDeleteRenee...love, love, love this denim apron...it's cuter than cuteness! ♥
ReplyDeletemuch love!
