Mending Monday--Angels

Mending Monday brings out angels. At first glance I thought these were on pillowcases but then I took a better look and they appear to be on towels of some sort.  I think a newborn pillow would be perfect.

How cute on a stocking for a little one?

My own mending brought me back to tablecloths.

Meet the "Wilendur Women".

They might not all be Wilendur but I couldn't resist.

I am not sure where to go with these yet but I love where they came from.

  4. Cute cute cute!! Love the Wilendur Women! :-) The angles would make a really sweet pillowcase for a child. Or they would be really cute embroidered on the corner of a baby blankie.

  6. Thank you so much for sharing those sweet little angels. The blocks you are making are gorgeous. I made a quilt like that in different purple reproduction prints. It is so much fun to make.
