Aisles

Schedules back to familiar times and lists full of achievable task I can now get back to my favorite shops. One disappointed and one did not.

Sherbet colors with glitter sprinkles.

A tray to corral desk clutter.

Pink case to hold supplies and a pack of bride place cards.

I never find doll clothes...and then I turned down the aisle and there they were a dollar each.

Feedsacks in shades of teal and pink.

Tiny flecks of vintage Christmas.

Super cute Happy Birthday record.

...the other side.

At the other store I saw a lot of things I loved.  Like this beautiful thermos. Then I had a little sticker price shock and slowly walked away.

There were some darling ideas. Like little people in baby food jars. Again...$4.50 a pop...walk away from the DIY.

I decided to take a few pictures and emulate them myself. I have tons of jars at home...for free.

Spray paint and some old plastic characters...thrift store here I come.

  13. lots of good stuff! I like the doll dresses. I have a quilt kit that I bought a couple years ago called doll dresses. someday oh yes.. someday.. I'm.. going... to.. have someone make it for me! lol.. did you think I was going to say that I was going to make it? As soon as I started cutting some of the pieces out, I made mistakes and got mad.. packed it up and knew that I would have to get someone else to do it! LOL!!

have a great day my friend!

  17. Love that pink case and the doll clothes, Renee! The clothes look like they are in really good condition, too. I don't often see them either, but I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for them now. I just did a suitcase makeover for my granddaughter to hold her baby dolls in. She's still very young yet {2}, but it would be great to have some clothes in with her dolls to play with.

  18. I love old homemade doll clothes, I buy them whenever I can find them at a reasonable price.

I made some of those jars last Christmas from Peanut Butter jars for my great nieces and they were a huge hit! I put crayons in some, doll shoes and accessories in another, farm animals in one and hair bows in another all with pink and pale green painted lids to match the bedroom with cute little figures on top. Cute as can be. I think they would be super to hold candy too!

    Blessings

  30. I'm shocked that those doll dresses were $1 ea....any shop out here would have them at $15 ea. & they'd probably have moth holes. Everything out here is outrageously priced.
But, I sure love the Jr. Miss case...so cute & from my time...it's all so cute.
