The Tin Man

Pink bunny eyes? Something I have long forgotten. A little bit scary a little bit sweet. Honeycomb backdrops and velveteen grass. This is what Easter was made of.

Do you suppose if I put polka dots on my meatloaf it would taste better?

New to my collection are these sweet stenciled bowls.

I imagine plenty of bottles were boiled in this pot.

I think Dorothy would allow me the privilege of being the tin man knowing I have such an affinity for it in my heart.
A big thank you to everyone and their wonderful comments about the blog makeover. If you would like for Keren to work on your blog/etsy shop you can contact her through her website. I found her incredibly reasonable and by far the most easy to work with. She goes above and beyond to make you happy. This is a product I would gladly recommend to friends...

  2. I agree with Kim, you and everyone else in blogland find all the best goodies. Okay, I've found some best goodies, but not enough and oh of course it would help if I were fabulously wealthy, but no that's two strikes against me. Boo hoo, okay I'm not getting any sympathy am I? Oh well, it would be awesome if all you lovlies that find all these goodies would remember to put me in your wills....just for the vintage stuff, not major stuff. Yes, my middle name changes from mooch, to give me, to I'll take that, at the drop of a hat. Okay, enough whining.

    Love ya'

  5. Love your new treasures!! I have to say, the bunnies eyes are a little scary, I don't think I would want one jumping around me! Haha!! But they are kinda cute! I have been meaning to tell you I have the same blue and white photo tray! I will have to show in a post, too! I am with you on the tin! At least you don't ever need to worry about it breaking. :) xo Heather

  8. Polka dots on the meatloaf - hahaha! I got a visual of olive slice cold cuts.
Do you know anything about those stenciled enamel dishes? I have just a few and know nothing about them, not even how to tell if they are old or new.

  9. The waste basket is cute!!

Yes, polka dots on your meatloaf would be perfect. My son doesn't like meatloaf. I may have to try that.

That is a cute pot for boiling bottles!!
