Mending Monday--Giraffes and Donkeys...oh my!

I found this special book at a local church charity shop. It talks about planting a seed and watching it grow. The illustrations are soft and delicate. A bit of a watercolor look. Thought you all might enjoy the progression of little Jerry's garden over the next week. The little seeds that grew.

As I venture through these patterns I realize they are not just stitching patterns but patterns as well.  A sweet giraffe.

Don't forget his little ears in the first image. I left the bottom of the foot so you could see where to line it up.

Directions so small you might need a microscope to read them?

Along with the giraffe where these cute donkeys.

This one even tells you where to put them if you need an idea.

To prove that blue birds go with everything.

These last few I kept the nearby images on the sheet. I love all the extras that they fill the pages with.
This poor donkey looks a little angry.

We must all stop and smell the daisies.

I don't think I would mind having a saddle full of flowers either.

  13. Super cute little stuffed animal patterns! And this is the year to have donkey embroidered patterns... now if you can just find some elephants too, that would be perfect. Seriously, don't you think those would sell like hotcakes in your etsy shops during an election year?

  14. There you go again, my sweet friend! What fun it will be stitching up this precious little donkey! It's been a while since I have done any hand embroidery, but, now that my 90 year old Mom has picked it up again...I plan on spending some quality time with her...stitching away!
    Thank you, dear!
    Blessings,
    Carolynn xoxo
