  5. Renee, it is always with a somber heart that I cross this bridge and enter the WW1 museum. My son loves to visit, as he is a history nut. I usually try to occupy a lot of my time with the nurses uniforms and red cross banners so that I don't have to think about the trenches in the next room.
    The words in John McCrae's poem are just plain heart wrenching. War is an ugly thing and I wish we could find a way to end it.
