Mike and Melissa

A Little Golden Activity Book
Mike and Melissa Paper Dolls

Written by Jane Werner Watson
Illustrated by Adriana Mazza Saviozzi
Copyright 1959 Golden Press

I couldn't bear to break the binding and put this one in the scanner.

A gentle story of two little people that play many characters.

The 1950's moon magic in full glory.

Coincidence....we have a Dr. Mike at our house too...

Pirate boots up to your hips!

Santa suits trimmed in fur.

But this airman and flight attendant suit are my favorite.

Meet me over at Corey's for more Lil' Vintage Story Books.

  1. "Boy" said Mike in plain English! I love the instructions: First read the story and THEN cut on the dotted lines! An Airman, WAY TOO CUTE!

You are the Estate Sale Queen my friend!

  19. Renee,
I LOVE those vintage children's books. I am thinking that I'm running out of space and need another shelf somewhere to put the rest up. If I could just stop buying them . . . but that wouldn't be any fun, would it? Thanks so much for the nice comment on my quilt table post, you come by and sew any time!
