Sometimes things fall. By accident I bumped the ironing board and the iron slipped off and fell to the floor. By the time I looked down it looked like an erector set. After a quick order online....the waiting began.
What's a girl to do while she waits for a necessary sewing tool?
Paint and decal anything I can get my paint brush on.
A once purple dresser with a mirror now houses hankies.
Medicinal green graces its tiny drawers.
My new dress form via Georgia Peachez wears Claire's vintage apron perfectly. Now, if only I could find a spare moment to actually have a seat in my chair....I doubt it!
what a darling chest of drawers!! Always love pictures of your sewing room!

It turned out great and your room looks so fun! I know what you mean about the chair. I used to have a rocking chair in my art room and I finally removed it because all I used it for was a place to pile things.
ReplyDeleteLove the dresser makeover with the sweet decals. That dress form is just perfect for your special room. Perhaps your chair will be used by Mr. Reagan.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever shown your shelves...up close for us to see everything? I love the way you have them arranged with all of the things I love!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Maybe you shoulda broke the iron earlier! Decorating your craft room took an adorable turn! So, will you be needing size 2T for your dress form???

Where can I get a decal for a doll high chair I just painted. It had one on it but it was almost all gone.
ReplyDeleteLove what you did with the chest.
Oh my, you know that I am digging those decals! Love your little corner- I wish I had room for a comfy chair in my studio, but it's a tight little room!
ReplyDeleteI think fate finally had to step in and destroy the iron just so you would have time to create more decal cuteness. :-) It's all adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love anything with vintage decals! I am just so smitten with them. Love your decaled dresser and trunk! Your sewing room is just so adorable...I am so in love with your rose chair!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the little dress form! I'm going to request having one made from "Georgia Peachez" at Etsy.
ReplyDeleteWhat is a girl to do without an iron!! Lovin' your adorable decals, and dresser!! That chair is gorgeous, as is your sweet space!! So many great things to look at!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love how you decaled(is that a word) the chest of drawers. You should take a moment and relax in that beautiful chair!
ReplyDeleteOh I just love that white trunk with the 2 pink bunnies!!
ReplyDeleteI would really like some "free time" to dig through this room of yours! hahaha
It looks like you have been having too much fun!!
ReplyDeleteThose decals are adorable.
You get things done so much faster than I do. You put me to shame!!!
I;d also like to see a close up of your shelves. Very pretty work space Renee!

Well, until that new iron arrives, and when you're done decaling everything in site......you could sit for 5 minutes or so. I may be really old, but there's no such thing as instant delivery...or is there? The wonderful Laurie (Magpie Ethel) is putting a bunch of decals together for me......I'm so excited. Hey, come check out the sneak peek of my studio on my blog.

So many wonderful things to look at, Renee! Your child size dress form is sweet! I would have the time of my life in your amazing sewing room! You little trunk is as cute as can be. You are such a creative young lady!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mothers Day, my darling friend!

The decals are so sweet and so perfect. That little apron fits so perfectly on the dress form! Looks great :->
ReplyDeleteWhooops, well those things happen. I almost missed this post, just now found it. I love your room and everything in it. Now, do sit down in that chair and just relax, take it all in. I should try doing the same thing, but not very likely! At least not today!!! What kind of iron was it, and what kind are you getting? I need a good iron. I just go through them so regularly I buy inexpensive ones.

Julie
Happy Mother's Day Renee! I am just catching up on posts and stopped in my tracks at the adorable clothes pin sack. You did the most wonderful job choosing the perfect colors. I just love it. Today's post is so sweet. Can you believe how much work went into this little book. Not like today! Enjoy your family on your special day! Elizabeth
