Brown Bear

Now, I know you think our little Jerry's story was complete but it isn't. Looks like daddy wants to help share in the joy of gardening with little Jer' well. One fine summer evening, while mommy was cleaning the dinner dishes, daddy helped Jerry plant vegetable seeds.

Another great set of fabric put together by Sew Deerly Loved. I have been holding on to it to make a set of bins.

Until I found inspiration for a cute little patchwork number so to speak.

After machine stitching I am off to detail it with a needle and some embroidery floss.

Along with my Gingham stitching guide...I have never done the herringbone?

This is the face of a 16 year old who sat in two DMV offices (watching our number go from 14 minutes to 107 minutes in the span of 5 minutes..no lie) then off to the dentist followed by a visit with his grandmother where he was presented with his first car.
In short....pure exhaustion and well deserved. Mac we are very proud of our Honor Roll, Eagle Scout, JV Golf team, newly driving kiddo. Now don't mess anything up!  Just kidding! Love, Mom

  1. Beautiful, Renee! Love the vintage-inspired lovelies you create--wish I could see your entire collection!

What a wonderful photo of your boy--and what a fabulous gift for such a very GOOD young man! My brothers were all Eagle Scouts, so was my husband--I know what dedication that takes--good for him!

Wishing you the loveliest day, dear friend...

  9. Love the picture of your proud boy!! I had one that was ready to head to the DMV on his 16th b-day and another one I had to force to get a drivers license because me and all of his friend were tired of hauling him around at 19 years of age. Freak him out and give him a hug from you blog friend, Kathy.
