For a "Pretty" girl....

Finishes...I think I am better at them than starts. The long comforting sigh of completion. A final nod to what I saw in my mind's eye. Better by far than the middle when things have to be taken out and reworked or tossed all together.

The finish on this "Pretty" girl is suited for many years of use.

Pockets that are deep enough for a favorite book or even a doll.

While it might fall at her knees now I am sure she will be able to wear it for quite a time.

Now...I am off to finish a few more projects that are piled on my desk.

That apron is so sweet I could cry! I would have loved it so dearly when I was little. The pockets would have been full of sewing supplies, with a Francie doll in one of them. Francie was much easier to sew for than Barbie...she was smaller chested. lol!

Seriously...it doesn't get much sweeter than that! I'm trying to think of something sweeter. Hmmm...NOPE can't come up with anything! And then you go and tuck a Rand McNally in there and it's just over the top cute!

I am guessing that was a custom order and somebody is going to jump for joy when they see that little number! It's the cutest thing I've seen on your blog, but then I know that you will come up with some other adorable item next week!

I don't know who the Pretty Girl is who's getting this apron, but I do know she will be a lucky girl! That is an adorable apron! I made my great neice an apron and chef's hat to match a year or 2 ago and she wears it almost every day! She loves to cook!
