Lambs and Puppies

It has been a while since I have pushed my cart through the baby aisles. I doubt I could find anything as cute as a few recent finds. Are lambs even trendy anymore in the nursery? It wouldn't stop me. I would happily trot into the paint store carrying my latest luggage just to color match it for the walls. Want to see?

My hunt for one of these nursery suitcases has been on for a while. To dress up the cream handle I will hang a vintage rattle. A place for vintage children's hankies.

A vintage nursery set I have loved from afar for over a year was found on sale! These are two of the four that came complete on a little wicker tray. Hand painted lambs frolic on them. I think pink and blue buttons will look perfect in them.

Miss Erica of Golden Egg Vintage sent this darling embroidery and feedsack for a special order.

I had more fun putting handles and trimming it out.

Placed a brand new label on it.

I made sure lots of Noel's toys could fit in it...I will be mailing it off tomorrow.

  16. One of the things I love about your blog (and there are many!) is that I always see vintage items that I have not ever seen before. Those lamb containers are darling. Love the fabric basket you made. Have a wonderful day friend!

  17. Lol! Was just thinking of the "toy organizer" I got for my last little boy...a lego fiend. I thought he would be able to sort his things to keep them organized. What world was I living in? His legos were all over the room and the organizers were a handy place for rocks, candy wrappers and old sandwiches. I do love nurseries, though. We can have them all cute and vintage-y...but then they get to be toddlers and it's all over! =D Can you tell I babysat a toddler yesterday?
