Mending Monday---Princesses and Paupers

Windy fall days are around the corner. I can feel it in the morning when I open the door to let the dogs out. There have already been days on the bleachers at ball games for fall ball. Finally, an end to the long, dry, very hot summer.
Today, I have more sweet images from LBP gift

  3. Everytime I see one of your stitching posts, I get the urge to begin again. Your little stitched hankie is absolutely charming. Happy Autumn to you -- I'm typing this while wearing a sweater. :-)

  5. Today was the first day that when I turned the air off for my daily ritual of power saving, it actually didn't get too stuffy in the house. I think the fall corner is here and it's turning. I hope you show the hankie when you're done.

    Hugs,
    Meri

  11. Images are all so sweet Renee. We are encountering a lot of wind also, everyone's allergies are bad with the pollen blowing around. Leaves are fallen in the garden too! I do like the fact that it cools down at night, get a better sleep.

  16. I love the hankie idea! I like small sewing projects since my eyes aren't what they used to be! My favorite nursery rhyme is "Hey, Diddle, Diddle." Did you know Tolkien used it in "The Fellowship of the Ring?" It was used in a tavern song, sung by Frodo at the Prancing Pony. My favorite Little Golden Book is the Disney Mother Goose. I got one for Christmas when I was five. Thank you for bringing back those memories. =D
