Way back in May...early May...I asked for a Mother's Day gift from Cath Kidston.
Preferably a purse.
My family seemed excited not to have to wander aimlessly through the stores.
I was excited to see what they would pick.
Enter plenty of patience...
Not without a hiccup...two weeks after the initial order there was no package?
Lovely girls at CK informed me it was never completed?
Somehow it never left the warehouse!
She assured me that my order would be dispatched the next day.
(Honestly, I loved listening to them talk.)
Look what finally came in the mail.
Almost thirty days after the order was placed this great package arrived on my doorstep.
I am so pleased I was patient enough to get this.
Look at all the goodies.A perfect polka dot purse.
Gadget bags, cosmetic bags, key chain and more.
My daughter has picked out a backpack for next school year from their website.
I wonder if we should order now?
This stuff is so yummy.
The colors and workmanship are divine.
Well worth the wait and a lovely Mother's Day gift too!
By the way, I blame Miss Molly of birdie blue for this little obsession.
She really has the most amazing taste.
Her sweet little giveaway this past Spring
Thank you Molly...
Smiles to you Renee! What a wonderful gift. School days nearly at an end, I know your summer days will be busy and fun. Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello! Elizabeth

Congratulations on your long-awaited Mother's day gift. Everything is divine. Someday, I will own something by Cath Kidson. I've been swooning over her catalogs for awhile now.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week ahead! The treehouse reveal is ready for 5:30am Monday EST.
Well then you know Cath Kidston also carries fabrics!!!!!!! Lucky you to get all those goodies. I picked up some fabric when I was out there in 2002, but haven't had the time or money to go back since. I just wish I had known about her the other three times I went before, but I was into Laura Ashley at the time.

Renee,
ReplyDeleteFour years ago my children got together and bought me an expensive designer purse for my birthday. I loved it, but would never even considered spending that much on a purse. My gosh, I know people who have cars that don't cost much more than some of these purses! Luckily I loved it, and have carried it all these years. It still looks brand new. My daughter asked if I wasn't tired of using the same purse for all this time, and I said I feel guilty if I don't. She laughed and assured me I don't need to carry only one purse for the rest of my life! I love your purse and all the little goodies. And I LOVE all the aprons. Just darling! What a nice job you did!! Good for you!
