How does your garden grow?

Another beautiful weekend found me out in the garden again.  This weekend I planted and set out some vintage garden finds.   It was such a treat to have back to back weekends with good weather.  No tournaments this weekend, no scout camps, just lots of family yard time and dinner off the grill.

I am all about yellow this year.  These coralbells are gorgeous and will spill out  of the pots in the heat of summer.

These new double mini-petunias are lovely.  I have placed them in the wrought iron box by the front door.  With some lemonade lantana it will keep the grey days sunny.

A collection of vintage sprinklers that I love sit close to the door by a basket of lobelia and ivy.

Last year for Mother's Day I received this handsome statue of a beloved bully!

My stalker is still after me...Reagan loves to watch from the front window.

The red bud out front is in full bloom with a deep purple this year.  Although I am sure that it will be short lived with the heat, it has been beautiful.

This candle holder I found last year at the thrift store.  It houses these pots with ease.

Bib lettuce in the garden pots.

More strawberries than I know what to do with!

Finally...the most beautiful rhubarb I have seen in a while.  I hate to harvest it because of the beauty.
I am looking forward to a week of crafting and sewing.

Your vegetation and flowers are lovely eye candy. Our Penny cat followed us from window to window while we played outside this afternoon. I can't wait until we can down and dirty with our garden too. Have a splendid Monday crafting!

Had to imagine others gardens coming on so strong now and we're having some snow coming down tonight. i love lobelia and that is sure a pretty blue. this year I'm making my 4 hanging baskets red/white/and blues. I will be posting about my nursery work at Cookie's later in the week. I've been working over a month there once a week.

Renee,
So many pretty flowers...I have never seen double mini petunias!!!! So cute.....the first photo reminds me of some little flowers I have in a pot that are purple, red and yellow ( not all on the same plant) my friend called them "million bells".....I will take some of those strawberries when they are ready! LOL Sandy

Like Sandy, I call those flowers in the first post "Million Bells" too. I have some other type of perennial that I call "Coral Bells." They have a fernlike leaf and little bell flowers growing along a long stem. Whatever, we call them flowers is flowers! And, I miss them. Only the shoots of some spring bulbs starting to pop up here. Yesterday was an unusually sunny, warm day and today is cooler and raining. But! This morning for the first time this year, when I look out the windows, the GRASS is starting to green up! Yahoo!
Thanks for sharing your lovely garden. I'm SO looking forward to playing in mine!

Love all these glimpses from around your garden! I potted up some pansies this weekend, and that was pretty exciting. It's just so nice to be able to plant something, after this crazy winter. I especially like your sprinkler collection. I have one lonely one, but it's a start!
