Crossed

There is a little four letter word up there in my navigation bar.  I hesitate to even say it...SHOP...Who knows if it will even be a success but it is worth a try.  Working out details and patterns has been fun some days  and  dismal others.

Can there possibly be room for more aprons on and vintage sewing items on Etsy?

Am I riding the trend wave that is nearly at the shore?

Will life get in the way?

Will it take the fun out of my hobby?

These are the questions that I ponder...

While I pull some details of multiple aprons into one.

Knowing that I have painted my picture from a pallet of vintage and modern prints.

Working around a very hairy obstacle who soon became a pattern weight.

He was quite pleased with himself, having found the most popular spot in the house.
I could not be cross with a face like that.
My Etsy shop is scheduled for a Summer opening.

Of course Etsy needs more handmade goodies!! Your creation is beautiful, and I can only imagine how fabulous your other patterns and creations are going to be! I am there with you on opening up shoppe! I am so nervous, and I have had the same questions. I love to create, and I know that it will all be worth the experience! It is so funny how we are so similar, and with style. A touch of vintage, and splash of modern! Your shoppe is going to be fabulous, and it will be a success!! I can't wait!! I think handmade is going to be our future!! xo Heather

How exciting that you are going to open an Etsy!!! Can't wait to see!! I've thought about it a couple of times... but then I "come back to earth" and remember I have a full time job and very little spare time.

I'm positive you'll do fabulously! If all your things are as lovely as this apron! I need to get my tushie in gear and take photos of things to put into my shop. I've got a ton of vintage things I want to sell, but haven't made the time to do it. Good for you for doing it!
