Attention to detail...

When I was a little girl I would color things to the "nth" degree. It was an art form in its self. First you outline with a heavy hand around the image. Followed by straight even strokes to fill in. Very geometric always clean and never outside the lines.

Attention to detail.

Finding the right line to sew on.

Putting your name on things.

Making something from bits of nothing.

Layering trim on trim.

Matching fabrics that never met before marry forever.

Enhancing beauty already within.

Attention to detail and a passion for perfection.
This sweet hankie pillow is headed over to Miss Heather of Vintage Grey for a belated Happy Birthday.
I could color all day long...

  11. Such a beautiful job as always. The pillow is a work of art. Thank you for sharing. I was the child who colored outside the lines. I always was so jealous of all the other girls who colored so neatly. LOL.

  12. Sweet just doesn't quite cover it - wonderful. I'm guessing (as a fellow coloring enthusiast) that you did not color in the background unless it was somehow contained and required it. (That was my preference, anyway.) Wish we could get together with our Crayolas!

  24. Ah yes, that heavy crayon outline around the edges before coloring the inside-is that where we all developed this need for perfection??

  25. Renee,
How funny about the coloring. I too would outline, but then fill in with a very light hand, almost shading with the color. I still love to color. Usually I work with paints but give me a good colorbook and some new crayons and oh boy, I'm a happy camper!
Thanks for leaving the nice comment about my granddaughter. I am so happy to finally meet her. Hopefully we will be coloring together very soon.
    Hugs,
    Julie

  36. No matters, whether, it is suit alterations or clothing mending services, the store which you are planning to go for, must carry good experience in the alterations field. It would be an advantage of the store, which has a good reputation in the market.
