Before and After

There might be a permanent layer of paint on my hands...and we are still not done.  There is one wall left. I had to show the shelves.  They have truly been a labor of love.  Nearly five coats of paint later it is just as I imagined it would be...

Before

After

Before

After

Claire and I spent the day shuffling things back and forth up and down.  Deciding some things needed to go and some were cuter than we remembered.

Clearly this will be an ever changing wall of vintage happiness.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get to my desk area and show you how much a few feet can make such an enormous difference.

Also, Renee, I found something that you may want at Paramount. Can you email me?

It's just perfect. Just when I thought your studio was perfect, your wallpaper and wall of shelves are absolutely breath-taking. Your collections are now perfectly displayed. Your post is exactly what I needed today.

Alright woman, enough is enough.....it's too darn cute! Now you need to load it all up and bring it out here. I'll get someone to repaint my room, and put up some Kath Kidston wallpaper, just get it all out here by next week.......okay? Thanks!

I'm studying what is on all those shelves. OMG it's just incredible with cuteness I love it all. Now I see an idea for me using my bread box in my new craft room. I will also do as you did with the doll houses up on top of the shelf, that I've planned from the get go as a good place for them. Do you have anything in your bread boxes ? I know I will to use that space. Nan

OH Renee!! Your hard work really paid off. It is just delightful. I am guessing you can't stop looking at it. I know (as my Grandma would have said) it's going to take some time for your eyes to get filled up.

So, so wonderful, Renee!(and Claire!)

I thought the before pics were precious but the floor to ceiling shelves are just perfect for displaying AND organizing! Deep shelves get cluttered fast around here!

Love all your Irmi lamps and figures! I can't wait to see my Irmis on Christmas morn!

After the holidays, I'd like to do a post about my favorite craft rooms and yours would def be one of them!

Enjoy! ♥

I am in awe of your craft room. Chris and the kids have graciously given me our upstairs landing space for my craft area. It has just been painted, and I am now designing and decorating my space. I just hope that it can look half as great as yours and Kim K's. I know that you are in heaven every time you walk in to craft or "play." Have a happy week in your newly refurbished space!!!
Many hugs,
Cindy
