Betsy Booth

Way back in January I started looking for another dress for my dress form. Knowing that the cost of vintage dresses can be astronomical, I started early.

Remember Grace she has served me so well. Always showing off each creation diligently. With the white wall color I can hardly see her now. She will be folded neatly and stored in a bread tin for awhile.

"Me, a child! Listen here, Andrew Hardy, my mother just bought me an evening dress that simply has no visible means of support!"

Meet Betsy Booth...Betsy for short.  Sweet and sassy.

Prim and Proper.

Ready for her position in the mending studio for Where Blogger's Create this Saturday.

Red, red, red......My very favorite color in the whole wide world! And, it even gets better with that pop of Rick rack!!!
Betsy Booth reminds me of my mom and her tiny waist...way back in the late fifties.
Cute as a button, Renee!

I can tell that I would have liked the gal who once wore this dress. It's simple, but that red is ever so sassy! Can't wait to tour your studio Renee!
