Questions?

Ladies...I have hit an impasse. I cannot seem to decide what the world of Etsy is going to be for me. There are a few questions that I have to ask because I simply cannot answer them myself. What would you like to see in my Esty shop? 

Do the pillows make an impression. I am always up for a vintage hankie or seven?

Needlebooks...These are fun to sew up and use vintage fabric on.

Thought about a few vintage patterns and embroidery made new?

Aprons...my starting place. 

Which ones do you like the best, full or half?

The bins are great but how many could someone need. These have now been discounted although similar ones will be seen in an upcoming magazine...shh!

Or is it the "stuff" I find that makes you smile?

I am leaning towards vintage embroidery patterns that you can download. I have so many that I could share.

Just a few questions that I can't answer. If you would be so kind and answer a few so that I can  market myself a bit more for my customers and followers. Thank you in advance for helping. I simply could not do this without all of your support.

Candy?

I love to have candy out in small batches for the kids before and after Halloween. As much as I would like to think they would rather have an apple I know better. The prepackaged candies are handy and easy to grab and go. Never one to miss an opportunity to make things cuter I knew I could do better than a plastic bowl.

Smaller than the paper pieced hexagon bins now listed in the shop.

Yet still big enough to handle a bag or two of candy treats at 7 inches square.

Sweet silhouette witches to spook a creeping hand.

This lined and handled cutie is one of four available in the shop.

Is it time for Christmas yet?

Taking notes and making lists.

I made a list today and stuck to it. The bins are finished and so cute I very nearly kept them for myself. It was hard to decide if I should keep them together or separate them. Too many decisions and not enough time.

Are they not sweet all together?

Gentle yellow on canvas with a hounds tooth fabric trim.

Gingham blue (and yes I changed the trim but I did think twice about it) with pillowcase trim and tablecloth lining.

My weakness...nursery blocks and dogs trimmed in chicken wire fabric and lined in feedsacks of pink and blue floral.

Green with envy...trimmed in yellow and lined in a beautiful vintage basket print.

The one I couldn't throw away...this half of a flower piece was so pretty I knew at least a pocket was possible. I trimmed this in a pale pink Japanese print and it is lined in a deep pink feedsack.

They are all listed now in the shop...there is no hope for me to keep them now. 

Tomorrow I will  only have one carpool lane to sit in. I can hardly believe it. How will I ever get any stitching done without my car lanes?

Polka dots...

This fabric has been sitting on the top of my pile for quite some time. I have tried forever to figure out a reason that I need to keep it. I don't but I can't just sit and look at it folded any longer. This is by far the sweetest tea towel I have come across in quite awhile. 

I purchased them together on the same day. They have been meant to be.

Could you see drying your hands on this?

The feed sack was intact and I carefully pulled out the stitching.

Every last little inch used.

Kona cotton in cream to make the ties and back the apron.

I think I ironed it at least 5 times. It is now listed in the shop. I will happily iron it for you again should you purchase it.

It is hard to let these go but I know that Lynn will love them.

Another version I have worked up. Scraps are for sewing into fabric. I really like the way the linen and feed sacks work together.
