Mending Monday on Tuesday

Mending Monday on Tuesday this week brings a bevy of flowers.

Spilling out of a pocket posed as a pot.

Make sure you reverse the image as it was intended to be a transfer and if necessary print in landscape mode.

The instructions so simple I see why every woman wore one.

Instead of the french knots I chose vintage buttons.

Fresh linen provided a perfect backdrop and white Kona cotton for lining. I should mention that I add mid-weight interfacing to my waistbands for stability.

A mix of vintage fabric and new for the trim.

This one has quickly become a favorite. I love the stitching and simplicity of the pattern.

Oh, so, so cute!!! I wish I used aprons, because the ones you make are so adorable. But I guess that would mean I actually have to cook, and that's not happening anytime soon!

(I'm catching up on my blog reading today, can you tell?) I have one of those patterns with a flowerpot pocket, and I think it's just the cleverest thing. Love how your apron turned out - I think I like the button centers better than French knots.
