Airmail

Airmail from Australia!
It is so exciting to open up the door and see a package,
but airmail is extra special as it has come across the ocean.
I am not a world traveler and have no desire to see the ends of the earth.
The internet has given me a free ticket for that.
The internet has also provided me is the ability to purchase
beautiful craft objects from some of the most amazing artists in the world.
This is what came in my special airmail...

An order off of etsy brought the happiest of smiles when it arrived.
Wait till you see what is inside.

Sweet little doily and sentimental card.
A gift from the Stitched Bluebird lovingly wrapped.

A tiny doll sized quilt...

with the most amazing stitching and detail.

Signed on the back by a beloved artist!

Being surrounded by my favorite artists is so inspiring.
Watching them raise their families (via their blog)
and manage their crafts keeps me motivated and in pursuit of daily work.
Creativity and happiness go hand and hand at my house.
Interweaving them with family provides a long lasting impression of memories with my kids...I hope.
It really is the small things...
This sweet little quilt with such an incidental message is such a lovely
treasure that will keep me happily stitching for years to come.
Thank you Janelle...and all my favorite artist that blog among me.

Oooh, exciting. I don't think I've ever received anything from so far away. My sister's new boyfriend did send me a postcard from London, and I thought that was amazing!
Those aprons you made were darling, and that was so nice of you to help Donna with a graphic. You are such a wonderful, sweet lady. I feel so lucky to know you!!
