There was a huge hiccup in my camera strap sewing experience.  I attempted to disassemble the strap patchwork some vintage table clothes and sew it back together via the attachments.   While it did come out it was very disappointing.  Some things are best left to the professionals.  Off to Etsy I clicked...

Genius, those crafters are.  A slide on strap jacket of sorts. Patchwork too!

This one had the option to add the cutest little camera stitching.  Lovely homemade addition that work perfectly with the colors.   Here's the thing I love about camera straps (this is my third, and yes I need a new one with each camera...shh!) I love to be able to pick out my camera from around the room.  Since I am prone to set mine down and walk off at most school parties and or events.  This is sure to keep it from getting it lost in the crowd.  It doesn't hurt that it keeps the hands in my house off of it!

My camera and I are becoming friends.  I have been working on shutter speeds and apertures.   It is like a whole other language.  In the mean time I caught some great shots of the pets.  This is Reagan roaring in the afternoon!

Later in the day he had a wild cat nap in the dining room chair.  Boy that tail is heavy.  Check out his foot propped up in the back of the chair.  Love it.

Phog was busy having sweet dreams with Pooh Bear.  He was catching the last rays of the warm morning sun.  That poor Pooh Bear needs some mending and a bath...I wonder if he will notice if he is missing when he wakes?
