About a week ago I heard..."Mom Jenny is going to be Little Red Riding Hood too!" Followed by lots of tears and a lot of second guessing. What is a mother to do? Break out the Pinterest costume pictures and pick out a new costume.
Silver lame and I might become friends after our first sewing session. Not a bad foil cupcake wrapper at all. With a felt pink top and sprinkle studs she turned out as sweet as candy.
I couldn't forget the cherry on the top. Made possible with felt, cardboard, and chenille stems all attached to a headband.
Happy Halloween to all of you...Boo!

It turned out beautiful! She is one lucky little girl to have such a creative mama and I'm sure she was thrilled! Sewing silver lame, yikes! That is some slippery stuff.
