Elephant in the room...

The elephant in the room....the Etsy issue has been resolved.  Part persistence, part intervention, and a dose of sunshine from today made it all better.  Thank you all for your kind words.

I rarely leave the thrift with large items.  The small stuff suits my needs and storage craft better.

Lipstick red vintage fabric piece.

Sweet Hankies...

Vintage pj's and housecoat pattern.
(I think I would be happy with any or all.)

Jelly Jars that scream...groovy!  Numbers cards with the sweetest face.  Miniature hearts card game full of pixies and elves.

I imagine these two Christmas books were someones favorite.  They are mere pages now as their spines are completely gone.  The fuzzy wuzzy Snowman one is just about the neatest book I have seen and I have seen a lot.  I can't decide to repair it or frame some of the pages.  I will be sure to scan them in and show you before I do...

Renee,
I knew you would get that taken care of! Just FYI, I found a woman that makes the cutest paper banners out of the pages of books like this...I will send you the photos...:) Sandy

I've missed your thrifty finds and this stash is perfectly sweet. I can just see some of those miniature hearts cards end up in your upcoming valentine crafting projects. Can't wait to see what you do with your special fuzzy wuzzy book. Darling pjs and housecoat too. It's all perfectly YOU!

lots of fun stuff! My friend Natalea takes old books like that and uses the covers and makes new "old" scrap books or journals out of them. they are really awesome. I bought a beat up old childrens christmas book to make a christmas scrap book out of... one.. of .. these..days!
have a great day Renee!

What sweet little finds! I would be happy to find anything at all thrifting lately, large or small. Hard to believe that fabulous fabric was still there when you arrived. You are lucky!

Good morning, Renee! My mom had those type of jelly jars! I forgot all about them! That's one of the things I love about my vintage loving friends. I see things from my childhood that I forgot all about and it warms my heart. :)

Glad your order issues were resolved!

I'm also glad I could get on here. I've been having trouble opening several blogs in the last 2 days. :(

I understand just what you mean about buying all smalls. It is a frustration to me when I find some great not-small item and simply have no place to bring it home to. I can always find room for more great "smalls"! That red fabric you found is a great score.
