Finishes and Starts

The doors where open to let the fresh spring air in today. I spent a good hour soaking up the sunshine collectively with the dogs. All of this ahead of forecasted rain. The soil is thirsty for a drink.  Fine payment for such a beautiful day.

All the baskets complete now I thought a final show was due.

Each one a different size and a little different in design.

Some are deeper than others?

All are equally cute and ready for Easter.

This is where I am headed next. Cute patchwork quilt looking basket. You can find a copy of this pattern here.

I am going more in the muted direction with my pieces cut and ready to sew.

Finding buttons and trim to fill all the spaces is just as fun as designing a dress.

All this fresh air has tuckered my dogs out. Phog took a long nap in his bead with both of his Pooh
 Bears.

Those are so adorable!

Your dog is adorable, too. My dog would have those Poohs shredded to pieces!

PS, my sister had an Irish Setter who loved his toy hot dog. Not my dog. Anything I ever gave her was chewed and shredded!

I love the way your dogs keep stuffed animals instead of eating up them like mine! That basket looks really really cute!! The ones you have completed too are just darling and I'm sure the recipients will love them.

Your bags are just SWEET! It sounds like you had a lovely day. I think I might have joined phog in that little snooze. He looks pretty cozy.

How cute are those - especially on that hook with the bear smiling down at them? Your next project looks adorable, too - and I like your fabric choices already!

Your Easter bags are adorable. I think I might just have to make one of those quilted bags too. So cute!! I love the picture of your dog with his Pooh bears. My dogs would have shredded them by now!

What a cute sight! Love the way these look all lined up together. Are these the Easter baskets for your kids this year? I love the blue kitty best of all. And nothing is cuter than a doggie cuddled up with his favorite toys. :-)
