That is such a sweet book.
You really need to send me the list of your Jr Elf books. I have a stash that are yours for the asking! I'm a Little Golden Book collector and I'm trying to hold myself in check, only one book obsession!

What sweet illustrations. I am curious, how do you display your collection? It seems like you must have dozens (hundreds??).

I think I have this book in my collection...look how cute those kids are and that little chubby pig knitting. :) I've always adored the vintage illustrations/graphics...rarely do I find a modern children's book today with the same sweet charm.

Geez louise, Renee...how can vintage illustrations possible get any cuter than those??? One of my favorite illustrators, too--you find the best books, my friend--so glad you share the sweetness with all of us!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Renee! I found this very book at the thrift store this morning! The illustrations are colorful and darling.
I love nursery rhymes!
I am so happy to have found your darling blog here. I love this era. I was happy to see all the iron on transfer sheets and happy to know that you can still get those. I have a few old ones, but this is great. I love to sew too!
Just love these books. I can't stop myself when I see one I love, I must buy it! We have designated a special place for my books in the new room. I'll post about it soon!

Renee. I've been flicking through your blog. Sooo much eye candy. Love it all xx ( Those fabric baskets you made....sigh )
The illustrations in this book are so adorable! Where do you find your books? I have looked in area thrift stores but to no avail. I guess I need to spend more time looking at each book instead of just scanning the shelf! :)
I'd love to have a collection of vintage books like yours...I'm envious.
Oh, I checked out the Spring Needlebook Swap and have joined the group! This sounds like so much fun :)
