Instead of the french knots I chose vintage buttons.
Fresh linen provided a perfect backdrop and white Kona cotton for lining. I should mention that I add mid-weight interfacing to my waistbands for stability.
A mix of vintage fabric and new for the trim.
This one has quickly become a favorite. I love the stitching and simplicity of the pattern.

(I'm catching up on my blog reading today, can you tell?) I have one of those patterns with a flowerpot pocket, and I think it's just the cleverest thing. Love how your apron turned out - I think I like the button centers better than French knots.
