Scalloped

Those are the cutest shoes ever.  That sweet crease in his pants...I swoon. I will never tire of these vintage images. It has been a life long love affair I treasure.

As long as we are talking about vintage (and when are we not?) you might remember I picked up this really cute Happy Birthday apron last month at the Flea Market. I had my motives.

Fabric courtesy the lovely Imagimeri. Double scallops are the latest trend. Right?

My favorite pocket style adorned with a vintage button.

As much as I love paper patterns using the real thing makes it just as easy. It is my preferred method. I start by drawing it out on freezer paper and then I can iron the pattern onto my fabric. A beautiful remake that is on to its forever kitchen home.

How sweet! That image is darling. And your apron is lovely. Thanks for the tip about ironing the paper pattern to your fabric. Your placement and cutting would be perfect. You're so smart!

Hey pretty lady,

Sorry I've been AWOL, but I just had to say that that's one of the cutest aprons I've seen. I'm so glad you found a use for the fabric. There shall be more goodies coming in the near future. My husband, whose been gone for the past 5 weeks in the Philippines, is finally coming home today....I'm beside myself with excitement. Neither of us can stand being apart so long, but I guess you gotta' do, what you gotta' do for some sort of income. Anyhoo, thanks for the shout out you lovely friend.

Big Hugs and Love,
Meri

Those creases in the pant legs remind me of the 1970's and disco. ;-)
