Jerry's excitement can hardly be contained. His string beans are ready to harvest. Supper will be wonderful with his bright green beans to share.
This is how I taught my kids to eat green beans. Only I never had enough to harvest. I could find them out their eating them raw. But then I cannot complain as our families favorite vegetable is brussel sprouts. It is amazing what a kid will eat when you teach them how to grow it themselves.

One of these days I will get to my long list of mending. I am so happy to have a basket full of projects to keep me occupied for years to come.

Whew! I have been waiting for that little fellow's smile!! You know, my guys were good veggie eaters, too, and it always amazed people but you know what, we grew a big garden then. I think you are on to something!
Can I come for new potatoes and peas in white sauce? I love veggies!

For the first time ever we got like 2 meals out of our green beans. Now they have stopped producing. But they where so good. Thank you for sharing all you patterns.

I grew green beans for the first time last year...the harvest was almost more than I could handle. I bottled about 72 pints and now I have about 8 left. Hope this year's crop hurries up...I love green beans! =D
Oh, little Jerry and his sweet kitty are so excited for the green beans! I look forward to having a garden to harvest such yummy veggies! Sweet sea patterns. I agree with you. I have a long list of projects that will be keeping my hands busy for many years. Especially when I keep adding to it! ;) xo Heather
My family loves brussel sprouts too! I always thought it was amazing that my kids loved so many veggies.
the beach patterns call to me! Im in the beachy summery creating kind of mode! well, I say that, though at this time I'm not creating anything. creativity is on the back burner.
thank you for your prayers Renee.
have a nice day

Fingers crossed that the deer family and Mr Woodchuck leaves our veggie garden alone this year. I think Chris will be constructing Fort Knox around it. Love the sea patterns...especially those sweet little fish with the big lips and the sea horses.
Renee, I had to go back and check out what I missed around here. The tea towels from Vintage Gray are soooo cute. She does have a super way to put everything together. I've been stitching away on one of your little patterns to make my own tea towel. Love following along with the adventures of Jerry!
My son is so picky with vegetables. I guess I should have had him growing his own plants when he was young! :-) Super cute designs. I like the sharks!
Unfortunately, that trick doesn't work in our house. My kids still won't eat the vegetables that we grow in our garden!
These are such sweet images! I love everything from the sea!
