I cannot remember where I saw these ornaments but you should know I am not the genius behind them. Merely a copycat of sorts. These are worth every flex of glitter.
A hole was punched in the top and the bottom with a nail and hammer from the inside out.
A few glass Christmas beads from broken strings were wired on with jewelry wire to the top and the bottom of the ornament.
After several days of drying and a little photo shoot...these sweet ornaments are headed out in the mail.
Simple, vintage Christmas glitter cookies.
Now I am off to sew.

Oh my gosh! I don't bake any more and what a PERFECT use for those great old cookie cutters. I am seriously on the hunt now.
I made a few "glitter cookies" myself...so much fun! I am going to the antique mall tomorrow...maybe I will buy a few more. I love how you crafted yours. =D

I've been hanging cookie cutters on my kitchen garland with gingham ribbon but I love them covered in glitter with beads even more.
Ha! I recognize so many of those as the cookie cutters my family used growing up! What a great idea to make them into Christmas ornaments!

I also remember making cookies with those same type cookie cutters as a kid Renee..I was just looking at some at the indoor flea market where I was shopping yesterday..Now I have to drive back to buy them..lol

Renee these are so sweet what a cute idea. I have tons of cookie cutters I could do this for just giving a little something to someone type gift. I cashed your postage check yesterday. I'm sorry it got placed in my craft bin and forgotten, then it somehow ended up in tissue paper sent to my daughter. She says Mom there is a check to you in my package. Oh dear this couldn't mean I'm getting old could it, Naw!!
