Bowl full of Jelly

With it being so grey here I have had to resort to using my flash. A week of tree photography only paid off in giving me two out of the five trees a decent shot. I wouldn't normally complain except all these grey skies have given us not a drop of rain.

For some reason, this year I couldn't remember where the original position of all the Christmas "stuff" went. I had to improvise and this new vignette was born.

Santa snuggled in with a few friends from Kim K. and a Beths Bagz pin cushion.

I will assume the grainy picture is a result of no sunlight? This is my newest tree that I sat in an old galvanized bucket and arranged all our modern glass ornaments on.

The drum candy can was perfect for my vintage tinsel tree. Now if only Sarah would spread the glass garland finding love...it would finally be complete.

Proof that I will put a vintage book anywhere.

No dish left untouched...

Santa sits ready in the kitchen to help in the baking.
If the sun decides to shine I will be ready for another photo shoot.

If you loved my ornament wreath you will love this great giveaway over at my friend Meri's. Pop over and look at the two beauties you could win.

How fantastic is that drum for your tinsel tree! You really do have some amazing vintage vignettes. I've been looking for one of those Santa cookie jars and now I know I need to visit KS!!

PS. I haven't taken pictures yet of your fantastic gifts. I have special plans for those dollhouse pieces. I hope my package arrived to your home. Christmas hugs!

We have the gloom here as well and lots of rain. Bleh!

I think your drum base on the tinsel tree (which number tree is that? 3, 4, or 5...!) is brilliant. A very inspired idea. :-)

Had to comment on your Santa standing next to the thermos - I found his twin at a local thrift shop last week. Someone had abandoned him near the check-out counter and, boy, did I grab him when I spied him while walking out after what appeared to be a bust day at thrifting. I have followed you blog for several months and really look forward to each new post. Also, I love the little wooden spool with tree - imitation is the sincerest form of flattery so I will make one for myself.

I'm feeling under-decorated! Know what I love most? The drum tree holder and the plaid cooler ceramic tree stand ... must have a thing for tree holders today! (Cannot believe I have fallen this far behind in my blog reading....)
