When I was a little girl I would color things to the "nth" degree. It was an art form in its self. First you outline with a heavy hand around the image. Followed by straight even strokes to fill in. Very geometric always clean and never outside the lines.
Attention to detail.
Finding the right line to sew on.
Putting your name on things.
Making something from bits of nothing.
Layering trim on trim.
Matching fabrics that never met before marry forever.
Enhancing beauty already within.
Attention to detail and a passion for perfection.
This sweet hankie pillow is headed over to Miss Heather of Vintage Grey for a belated Happy Birthday.
I could color all day long...

Stunning~ Beautiful pillow with a little bit of this and a little bit of that! So you~
I wouldn't expect anything less than perfection from you. Beautiful details. A lovely gift for Heather.
Oh that is so cute. She's gonna love it!
Layers of adorable, that's for sure! So thoughtful of you to make a pillow for our Golden (egg) Girl! What a treat to help her in her recovery! You are a one in a million friend, Renee! God Bless You!
I would say you have graduated quite well from crayon to needle. You really do have quite a talent. Your pillow is adorable and will be treasured by Heather!
It was the start of something great to come! Who knew that the craft world would explode at just the right time to feed our creative juices!
Oh Renee! I was a lonely only and coloring is what I did. Every page. In order. And every book completed.
Heather is going to be thrilled!
Such a beautiful job as always. The pillow is a work of art. Thank you for sharing. I was the child who colored outside the lines. I always was so jealous of all the other girls who colored so neatly. LOL.
Sweet just doesn't quite cover it - wonderful. I'm guessing (as a fellow coloring enthusiast) that you did not color in the background unless it was somehow contained and required it. (That was my preference, anyway.) Wish we could get together with our Crayolas!
That is just beautiful, Renee! You make me wish I had some yellow in my home! : ) Your attention to detail is wonderful and I love how you put these pieces together into one gorgeous pillow.
It is a beautiful pillow. Heather will love it for sure. Your attention to those little details make it a little work of art!
What a great birthday gift!! i'm sure Heather will love receiving this embellished pillow! Gorgeous!

I had a lot of posts to catch up on with being gone last week. I adore this pillow so darn cute I can't stand it!! Yes you are one neat sewer Renee. I try to emulate you!
that's such an adorable and cheerful pillow! I was just telling a coworker who's MIL just passed away about hankie pillows. Her MIL used them all the time and they are quite sentimental
Oh geez what a lucky lady! That pillow turned out so stinkin' adorable.......she's gonna love it. If she doesn't, you still have my address don't you? ;o)
Love ya,
Meri
It is a WONDERFUL birthday gift! So personal, pretty and made with love! A keepsake!
Warmly,
deb
Ah yes, that heavy crayon outline around the edges before coloring the inside-is that where we all developed this need for perfection??
Renee,
How funny about the coloring. I too would outline, but then fill in with a very light hand, almost shading with the color. I still love to color. Usually I work with paints but give me a good colorbook and some new crayons and oh boy, I'm a happy camper!
Thanks for leaving the nice comment about my granddaughter. I am so happy to finally meet her. Hopefully we will be coloring together very soon.
Hugs,
Julie

Renee, I love that idea of layering the ric-rac with the ruffle of the pillow! I would have never thought to do that- attention to detail is right!

ps. I colored the same way as you. :o)
No matters, whether, it is suit alterations or clothing mending services, the store which you are planning to go for, must carry good experience in the alterations field. It would be an advantage of the store, which has a good reputation in the market.
